Join My 2011 Training Camp!

Cari’s Training Camp

Cari’s Training Camp is designed to help you kick-start a healthy lifestyle and introduce you to the wide range of fun and healthy fitness activities you can do in Houston.

It includes 8-10 sessions each month  with a variety of strength training and cardio activities including: boxing, resistance bands, running, yoga and more. In addition, you get personalized workouts to do on your own, nutrition advice, assessment with goal setting, and body analysis (monthly members only).Cari also includes monthly goal incentives to keep you on track, grocery store tours and at least one private session a month. You can join in at any time and pay for 1 month or just by the class.

What’s Included?

  • 2 Outdoor workouts a week at various locations so you won’t get bored (Spotts Park, Memorial Park, Sabine bridge, etc).  They will consist of cardio + strength training. Workouts will include upper body, lower body and abs by mixing in boxing, resistance bands, kettlebells, plyometrics and more!
  • Package Also Includes (*For monthly members): Food Journal Review; Personal Assessment and Goal Setting; Body Fat & Measurements; Yoga Classes at Joy Yoga; Kenyan Way Workouts, Weight Training Workouts at Fit Athletic Club, Cari’s Exclusive Recommendations for Online ExerciseTV Videos and Home Workouts, A Monthly Incentive Program to keep you on track, Workout Plan for Other days and a Copy of Cari’s new ExerciseTV dvd!
  • Additional Classes Include: a Grocery Store Tour, Shopping Tour w/discount (gear, watches, shoes, clothes,etc) at Luke’s Locker and more…

What About the Weather?!

Right now the weather is pretty chilly, but it never gets super cold in Houston. Just dress in layers and bring gloves and a hat to keep warm. In the event of inclement weather, we have an indoor location for workouts.

Is This a Bootcamp?

No. This is more like personal training but in a group setting. Cari will not be wearing camouflage and  there will be minimal screaming : )

What If I’m Out of Shape?

This will always remain a small group of less than 15-20 people so that Cari can give everyone individual attention. Cari will adjust your reps/weights and cardio requirements based on your level of fitness and your goals. It will feel like personal training because Cari will be very involved.

When?

Every Week: Monday and Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm

+ a few weekend classes per month (date/time TBD)

How Much?

$200 Per Month Total = Only $20/hour! ( less than 1/5 Cari’s personal training rates!)

*If you bring a friend (monthly or per session), you both get 15% off! For each additional friend you get to sign up, you will get another 15% off! You could potentially come for free!

Hi! I'm Cari! I'm a fitness star turned Mom of 3 who lives in Houston, TX. Getting fit and healthy is a journey and one I understand well. After graduating from college I worked in a corporate setting for many years and gained a lot of weight and had an unhealthy lifestyle. Finally, after I had enough - I decided to regain my healthy lifestyle that I had in college by fitting in workouts and eating healthier. Eventually, I left my corporate job to become a full-time personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I also created Bombshell Bootcamp over 10 years ago and it has become one of Houston's top bootcamps! My passion then turned into greater opportunities to write workouts for national magazines, appear on tv doing workouts and speaking about healthy and fitness, making fitness DVD's and working with many celebrities. Fast forward a few years....and then I had my first baby! I'm now a Mom of 3 little ones and try to incorporate healthy living and exercise in our family's lives. Not only do I still blog about workouts and fitness, but I have shifted some to include family fitness, family travel, fashion, health/beauty and general lifestyle.
